        <![CDATA[ I know there is not much time to respond today, but this is the first chance I&#39;ve had to sit down all day...I&#39;ve just finished making bagels for
tomorrow, and the challah is rising!

A few years ago, I thought I remembered reading in one of the haftorah for Sukkot, something about a &quot;mashiach arriving&quot; during Sukkot. 
Perhaps it was something to do with being announced or proclaimed, at the merited time, but it definitely had to do with this wonderful season (my favorite... ]]>

			<description><![CDATA[ Thank you for taking the time to respond, Rabbi Daniel.  The day after I posted the question, I found what I was looking for.  It is in Parsha Sukkot, Shabbat
Chol haMoed, and it was in the commentary.  In the commentary of the Hertz Chumash, (the old one) it says &quot;it is an old tradition (or belief/thought) that
the war spoken of in this parsha would occur during Sukkot, and this is one of the reasons this parsha was chosen for this particular shabbat&quot;.  I must be

  The Haftorah&#39;s are from Zecharia, Yechezkel, Melachim... so they all can be connected to the Mashiach.

  There are three pilgrimage holidays, Passover, Shavuos and Sukkos.
  <br>
  Passover is said to correspond tot he first Temple, Shavuos to the second and Sukkos to the third and final Temple.
  <br>
  There is much about the holiday that corresponds to, relates to, portends to Messianic times.
