Posts are deleted because they violate one of the forum's rules the big three of which are:

1. Proselytizing is not allowed

2. Personal attacks are not allowed

3. Negativism about fellow Jews are not allowed

It seems that some of our participants don't understand, or don't want to play by the rules of our discussion boards.

We have had cases of "hit 'n run" attacks, or repeated flagrant violations of the rules of decent conduct - those people generally get permanently banned.

We've also recently have experienced behaviors which have drawn warnings of consequences, but compliance has not been very good. The level of nastiness and negativity of the language and tone being used by some participants on this board in particular, but on the other active boards as well, has gone beyond civility on several occasions. For example, there's no need for participants to openly ask that others be banned.
