I know there is not much time to respond today, but this is the first chance I've had to sit down all day...I've just finished making bagels for
tomorrow, and the challah is rising!

, I
don't know why the above quote made me think (a few years later) that it had something to do with the arrival of mashiach. However, about a month or so
ago, I was reading a newssite online, and saw an advertisement for some book or dvd by either a missionary or a messianic that said something along the lines
of "the Jewish holidays are coming soon and the scriptures say what time of year 'the messiah will arrive', but not the year"---or something
along those lines...it was one of those things that I didn't look into because, well, frankly, they are clueless. If I read it (or viewed it) I would
probably start fuming because I really get aggravated at how much and how often they distort the writings of the TaNaKh, whether intentionally or through
ignorance. I had a feeling from the advertisement that they were trying to say "the messiah" would arrive during the High Holidays---WHERE they get
that idea would be nice to know, because if we know where they are coming from IN ADVANCE, we can "head them off at the pass", so to speak. So,
beware the messianic missionary has a new "source" for proselityzing. It could also be an answer to their GT faux pas of their man-god
"entering Yerushalayim pre-Pesach and waving the lulav at the dude"!
