Some people think Jews "made these up," but they are all found in the Torah (Genesis). They apply to all people, including Jews. These all pre-date Abraham's covenant -- so obviously they apply to everyone -- yet amazingly some say Jews "made them up"! So let's look for some internal (to the T'nach) and external (to the T'nach) proof of the Noachide mitzvot.
1. Do not murder - Genesis 4:23-24, 9:6
2. Do not worship other gods - Genesis 4:26
3. Do not take G-d's name in vain - Genesis 4:26
4. Abstain from deviant sex - Genesis 1:28, 4:22, 6:3, 6:12
5. Establish courts of law - Genesis 1:28, 9:6
6. Do not steal - Genesis 6:11
7. Do not eat meat off of a living animal - Genesis 9:4
The Book of Jubilees dates to the second century of the common era. In a translation from 1913 by R. H. Charles we find the following:
"And in the twenty-eighth jubilee Noah began to enjoin upon his sons' sons the ordinances and commandments and all the judgments that he knew, and he exhorted his sons to observe righteousness, and to cover the shame of their flesh, and to bless their Creator, and honor father and mother, and love their neighbor and guard their souls from fornication and uncleanliness and all iniquity. . .1 Kings 8:41-43 tells us that non-Jews who believed in G-d were not only permitted to bring qorban to the Temple, but King Solomon himself asked G-d to listen to their prayers:
43 You (G-d) shall hear in heaven Your dwelling place, and do according to all that the stranger calls You for, that all peoples of the earth may know Your Name, to fear You, as (do) Your people Israel, and that they may know that Your Name is called upon this house that I have built. 44. If Your people go out to battle against their enemy, by what way You send them, and pray to HaShem toward the city that You have chosen, and (toward) the house that I have built for Your name. 45. And you shall hear in heaven their prayer and supplication, and maintain their cause.
