I am converting to Judaism. Last week we were in Torah class learning about prophets and we briefly talked about a certain man who died I think in '94 and
is said by Jews to be coming back. There is a certain sect of Orthodox or Hassidic Jews who follow this man and they say that he is the messiah. I want to
know what his name is and why that sect started thinking that he is the messiah. I'm enjoying converting to Judsiam and I will be awaiting your reply.
PS-I decided not to convert at the Reform Jewish synagogue, since you guys said that their conversions weren't valid. Instead, I'm converting at a Conservative Jewish synagogue.
