Are you saying that they all know that their faith contradicts Hebrew scripture?Zvi, Christians believe (to the point of being willing to attempt to prove it to you) that their faith is in perfect harmony with Hebrew scripture. From my experience, most also naively believe that Jews have simply never studied their own scripture, and that if they would do so, they would see that Jesus is their messiah. Very few have taken the time to understand what Jews really know about Hebrew scripture, and how paradoxical the Jewish view is to the Christian view.I can accept you calling Christians irrational, because our "reasoning" must seem to fly in the face of simple logic. But it is wrong for you to conclude that the "vast majority of Christians" are "not intellectually honest".

Absolutely nobody has ever mentioned Hosea in this discussion. They just love being Jewish, and they know that means staying away from Jesus, and that's about all they know.
