I understand there is record of every scribe, sage and rabbi back to Moses, or at least a good part of it. Orthodox Christians claim they have this succession back to James (Jacob) the Just, brother of Jesus. I can't reconcile jewish tradition to orthodox christian tradition. Makes no sense if Jesus did exist that James would have a complete different tradition if Jesus and James were observant jews. Are there articles, books, or anything that would suggest that James was anything but a practicing Jew. From my research it seems he was more strict in his observance than Jesus was.
