Isaiah 44:28 and Josephus in Antiquities (11.1.2 and 11.1.3 or 11.6 and 11.12) attest to the fact that Cyrus also called for the building of Jerusalem. This happened (538BCE) 7 weeks after the fall of Jerusalem in 586BCE.

And it is very significant that both the last high priest and the last Judean King were cut-off at the time of Jerusalem's destruction, just as Daniel called for. That's ground-breaking news.

You have nothing historically or biblically to justify your position about 49 years for the city to be built. Neither can you justify separating by over 2000 years the 69th from the 70th week just in order to fit Jesus in.

Since you acknowledge 2 different 70 year periods forecast by Jeremiah, you should agree that Daniel's prayer happened in year 1 of Darius the Mede, at the time of Cyrus' edict. Again, a perfect match.
