Hi Chaim, 4. Are you saying that the Temple's destruction in 9:26 is not part of the 70 weeks or 490 years?

As far as counting of time, yes, that's what I am saying. The 490 years to bring in everlasting righteousness was put on hold because the Jews rejected Jesus as the messiah, and God turned the offer of His plan of salvation to the gentiles - the 490 year prophecy is not for the gentiles, so the counting of time stopped.

When our time is up - as we say the time of the Gentiles has ended, according to our bible - all Israel, meaning real Jews not replacement theology Jews, will be saved - as God's attention is turned back to the Jews in regards to them ultimately accepting Jesus, in our belief. And that plan to ultimately bring the Jews to believe in Jesus is first the Jews have got to become energetic toward God - which is not the case for many Jews in Israel - by drawing them closer according to Ezek 38-39, in an awesome display of His power to defeat the Islamic nations and Russia who are going to team up to wipe Israel out.

After Israel becomes energetic about God, then the temple will be rebuilt, Judaism's messiah will arrive, confirming the covenant with many....

9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate

....when the prince who shall come, who most Christians believe will be the Antichrist, makes the covenant with many for one week posing as Judaism's messiah - that's when the last week of the 70 weeks begins, and the counting of time in regards to the 490 year prophecy resumes.
