Tanach says nothing about Mohamed or Buddha. Your premise that Tanach must mention high impact figures is incorrect, JoeDavid.

Hitler had a big impact on Jews, but is never mentioned in Tanach.

I knew someone will mention hitler.
From what I read hitler believed in REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY and was supported by some churches. Both replacement theology and these churches came from INVERTING Jesus teachings. At least you admit to the impact.

Prophet Jeremiah was UNAMBIGOUS about the Babylonian exile -a huge impact on the Jews. You couldn't have mistaken what he was saying for the 2nd exile !

Prophet Isaiah earlier was UNAMBIGOUS about Cyrus and what he will do -he probably didn't need to introduce himself to Ester and co. Cyrus could not have been mistaken for anyone else !

Prophet Daniel was UNAMBIGUOS about the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. He gave times that were so UNAMBIGOUS that even if the exact dates were not known one could never miss the season. All the events stated had HUMONGOUS IMPACT on the Jews !!

It seems from these examples and numerous others that it's in G_d's character to tell the prophets UNAMBIGOUSLY of any HIGH IMPACT EVENT to Jewish lives.

Deuteronomy 13, 18 talks about false prophets arising from among Jews. That is GENERIC -it applies to many many Jews throughout all generations.
So the arguement about Mohammed, Buddha e.t.c is invalid because these were non Jews.

Deuteronomy 13:2
If there will arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of a dream, and he gives you a sign or a wonder, (JPT)
