Reuven, most companies have a short term disability policy that kicks in when illness exceeds 2 weeks. You should have your wife check out her company's policy.

Is it possible you can supplement your income with a part time seasonal job? I know it would be hard since your wife probably needs attention, but it is an idea. There are even some call center jobs where you can work out of your house and get paid when you log in. LiveOps is one (Google it).
