Well taken.

I've got one more long post coming that will talk about "revealed God" thinking alone, and then after that I'll start describing "hidden God" thinking.

Some of it's hard to "get" because it does, indeed, "come in under the radar." One really has to begin by thinking about the world the way an infant does.

Some short shots: Revealed God theology assumes that God is revealed in how things are; the rich are rich because God likes them, the poor are poor (and the sick are sick) because God does not like them. That's what "revealed God" theology says.

"Hidden God" theology says instead that none of that is so; that, instead, God is present to you, and loves you absolutely, no matter what your circumstances may be.

Thought I had more.

Now, another factor that may be frustrating these explanations: everybody knows, a second-rate intellect is constantly tempted to pretend to be a smarty-pants. So it could be I'm making some of these posts more complicated than they need to be. Sorry; my bad.

Hang in there! (Please!)
