We don't need a savior other than G-d Himself. He created us with free will so that we can rise above sin and grow spritually. A better question might be "do we need saving?" Or as Genesis 4:7 tells us, did G-d give us the ability to save ourselves?

G-d is our savior, our ONLY savior -- but we don't need to be "saved" -- or did he give us the ability to save ourselves Do you understand the difference?

As for "who is the savior", the Tanach makes it clear. G-d is the one and only savior -- but we do not need to be saved -- we need to do our best to be righteous.

Just a few of the quotes. It is by our actions (not our words) that we are saved. Through the correct choice using our free will. G-d is always there with mercy -- but we do are not as children who need to be suckled and treated as if we had no ability to make decisions.

We make our own choices. And based on what we do and who we are -- G-d decides.
