Lots of questions open up, potentially, as to what a person must believe or do before God can or will intervene like that. In other words, can or do such things happen among Christians, too? Mormons? Muslims? I don't want to "go there" at this moment, however.

As the story goes, YES! G_d does it for all religions. For all the religions have their miracles. Mom was a born again, my brother just believed there might be a G_d, even afterwards. So I guess that would make him agnostic.

So there are healings of folks' physical bodies. Don't healings occur of their "emotional bodies," too? Of long-held personal grievances and insults, for example?

Sure there is. But I believe it starts with the persons desire to forgive. The emotional part probably or may take longer but time does heal.

For myself, I think so. I think God does it all. I believe nothing of that kind would ever occur apart from God's moving the person, prodding the person, energizing the person, equipping the person, enabling the person.

Does this make sense? How do you see it?

I see it the same. But does that mean that those who just can't forgive are not equipted? I think it would be very hard to forgive some one for murdering a family member. Time may ease the pain but does that person ever really forgive?
