It seems, as Churchill said about the Americans and English, we are two nations separated by a common language.

So it is with Xians and Jews. We may use similar words, but often they mean different things.
I think its even more complicated than that.
Whereas IMO almost everyone, almost all the time,
means what one says and believes it, too;
the standard language ones equipped with
and constantly hears, and therefore will tend to use,
may not
express ones actual belief.
As one walks one's talk (and it won't happen any other way), one may discover such a mis-match between one's theology and the way one actually sees the world. Then one
may
find oneself without any ready language to describe what one actually sees.
It can be an unsettling, fearsome thing.
