Hi Sophiee,
I whole heartedly agree with Harry. Xians are entitled to keep their holidays -- and I am not insulted when one says "merry Xmas" to me. They certainly don't mean offense. I usually reply "Happy Hanukkah" to which they laugh and get the idea.
Given the polarity in beliefs, that's probably the best solution to the religious impasse when put in that situation.
What I don't like is when someone else (not speaking about you, Sophiee
) says we (Christians) ourselves can't refere to Christmas as Christmas.
