My point was that these(Xanity, Kabbalah) are "Western" attempts to achieve a theosophical state. The "East" is just more gung ho(honest/straightforward) about it. I don't find classical Judaism theosophical(in fact Chagigah ch.2 warns us to get the hell out that). This theosophical(and philosophical) tendency began to ascend(gain popularity) around the 12th century. Yes, philosophy too I find alien to classical Judaism. "Get Back" was the Beatles last album, and could be my song(plea) to Jews after the 12th century.
