Doug wrote: John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Note that Jesus not only was saying "I am" in the sense of saying that he was God, but Jesus also emphasized that point by saying before Abraham's existence.

Malachi's response: Wrong again Doug. You need to talk with a Greek scholar and he will point out to you that is a faulty translation.

Let's take a look at it again Doug Jesus was not saying he was G-d or part of G-d you again, are reading that into the verses.

Let's examine it a little closer:

Joh 8:58 Jesus told them, "I can guarantee this truth: Before Abraham was ever born, I am."

Even if this was an accurate way to translate the scripture (its actually a biased rendering trying to make what Jesus said match up with Ex 3:14), the context shows that Jesus is saying that he existed before Abraham did. The question is about age, as shown in the verse 57, where the Jews ask Jesus:

57 They said to him, "You are not even fifty years old---and you have seen Abraham?"
To which Jesus replies:

Joh 8:58 Jesus said to them: "Most truly I say to YOU, Before Abraham came into existence, I have been. (NWT)
Joh 8:59 Then some of the Jews picked up stones to throw at Jesus. However, Jesus was concealed, and he left the temple courtyard.

Doug you are again presupposing the trinity to be true in order to prove the trinity and that is circular reasoning.

You never answered why the Revelations 3:14 for example states that the preincarnate Jesus was said to be the begining of the creation by G-d. Which shows that he was considered by the early christians to be created.

Let's have a discussion on Revelations 3:14 and without presupposing the Trinity see why John said that.
