Problem is..... G-d is not a "being" at all. He is infinite.

'Being' is just a word; call it 'existence' or whatever you like.
God is infinite, therefore beyond our comprehension.

Light that 'produces' light does not alter the 'substance' of light.

It is light.

So God who generates His Word, 'bears' God.

Also, 3 distinct persons in a Trinity, if distinct, are by definition FINITE.

I think 'by definition' Infinity generates or brings forth infinity. This is in the realm of eternity/infinity, the heavenly realm. Imv your "by definition" is to natural/material.

Medini:
Light is a created subtance and is finite, NOT Absolutely Infinite. Nor is it an activity like speaking or breathing - that is the "from", "came from" here. So, your poem has just presented us with a fallacy of false analogy.

What is more, the issue is inherent versus voluntative activity in the "from", "came from" here. Which is it? Either the activity is NOT G-d or your "G-d" is not G-d - those are your ONLY logical choices.

As you say: the light-analogy is analogy. Of course light, natural light is created. When God says: I am the light, He doesn't mean to say He was created. (Isaiah 10:17, Ps.27:1)

An 'activity of God' is not necessarily a creative act(ivity). When God Speaks He is not per se creating something, is He? He speaks, which is 'action', but He does not create: He 'bears' His Word, before all times, and that Word is also divine, because of its origin ' from eternity'.
