Thomas wrote: when Walter Martin was still the "Bible Answer Man" I came to the conclusion that he was off on many issues. I felt like how could I criticize such a prominent servant of God, but know I wish that I had been more vocal. Those "big hitters" in Christian apologetics were not necessarily speaking the truth about the NT.

Malachi's response: Thomas I use to read not only Walter Martins books, but any book by an Evangelical Christians that wrote about refuting Jehovah's Witnesses. The purpose was to bring them to an understanding of the Trinity and the "real" Christian faith. It was the Trinity I was told that was keeping them from being "saved".

I ready so many books on the Trinity while I was station at Fort Bragg, and then in Germany that I had a literal library of books. The First Sergeant use to be amazed at all the books I had in my room when he came by to inspect. But I use to ask the Chaplin about the Trinity and the deity of Jesus and many, many others. I spoke to the "big guys" and regular Christians about the Trinity. I decided I would let the GT and Hebrew Bible speak for itself and I did have books on the Greek grammer, and Hebrew plus many scholars from the university that spoke these languages that helped me come to the conclusion that Jesus was not part of G-d nor a member of the Trinity.

I discovered that the GT did not call Jesus Jehovah G-d (YHWH) and the Hebrew Bible did not teach a Trinity either.

Malachi
