Many times in the HT it is written: "the word of the Lord came to me"; why not "The Lord said to me"?
Also many times it is written "the spirit of the Lord came upon" ; why not "the Lord came upon..."?

The One God, in His doing/acting, is called : 'the Spirit of the Lord' and 'the Word of the Lord'. Why is that?

Aad,
You almost said it yourself. The word of God or the Spirit of God are His actions, just as the hand of God is as well. These actions are not God. Is the hand of God another person in the trinity? How about the evil spirit of God in 1Sam 16:14-15, 1Sam 18:10, and 1Sam 19:9? Are we up to 5 persons yet when we add the hand and evil spirit to the word and holy spirit?

Acts 7:55 shows Jesus actually being seen seated at God's right hand. I don't see figurative language there. That's two separate entities, Aad. What's ironic is that you guys will argue theophanies were "seen" but Acts 7:55 was really not seen? LOL. What did Stephen, being full of the spirit, see when he looked up into heaven? Nothing? Come on Aad.

Also, why would "more" need to be revealed about God's nature? God explicitly commands Jews to reject foreign gods they and their fathers never knew. Besides, it seems the earliest christians for centuries could not articulate the Trinity you now think you know. It looks clear the Trinity was invented long after Jesus. And you think that's how God reveals Himself? More needed to be revealed about God - according to you - and no one understood it until Nicea some 3 centuries later?

Most Jews lived outside of Israel and had to learn 2nd hand that God is supposedly revealed as 3, not 1, and this is something they should have easily accepted, despite being told not to accept foreign gods? Come on Aad. There's no proof any Jews were told by any christians of that time that God was 3 persons in a Trinity. No christians knew or taught of that for centuries afterward.
