Well done, Douggg.

As far as the Torah goes - I am going to say that homosexuality is an abomination to God.
That is exactly what the Torah says.

To put it very simply - a convert must accept the Torah in full. The commandments in Leviticus chapters 18 and 20 (IIRC) let us know that homosexuality is an abomination, and is forbidden. A convert who will accept 612 out of the 613 commandments is not a convert, and any conversion is considered to be nothing at all.

This is of course the view of Torah-observant Judaism, which is referred to as "Orthodox". The "Reform" have their own philosophy regarding the importance of following the Torah, which I am quite familiar with, but will not go into here, since I am an "orthodox" Rabbi
