Ty, the story in Matthew 15 about the Jews wanting to stone a woman for adultery is patently a made up tale to make the Jews look bad.

The story completely ignores Jewish law -- AND Roman law.

Since that was supposedly a "rabble" how does this show that the Pharisee leaders Jsus (per the GT authors) condemn as hypocrites were in fact guilty of being such? It is Jsus (as portrayed in the GT) who was hypocritical -- teaching one thing and acting in an opposite fashion.

Your referencing of the stoning incident doesn't answer the question at hand: how could all the Pharisees (assuming there were good and bad people as there usually are) -- how could ALL of them be guilty of every murder ever committed including those going back to Cain?? This just shows spite and egotism on the part of the speaker, and a lot of hatred.
