Is both insulting, one that has gotten us killed with non-Jews presuming Jews feel superior and indeed very anti-semitic. I take it you've never heard the
midrash about how G-d CHOSE the Jews?
Avodah Zarah 2b tells us that . G-d offered the Torah to all the nations of the earth, and the Jews were the only ones who accepted it.) So much for superiority!
Most of these stereotypes about Jews have been perpuated by Christians and Muslim, since in all likely cases it is from them that most Gentiles learn about Jews. Add to the fact that since Judaism holds a pluralist position(if that is right defination) with regards to Gentiles, these Gentiles rarely come to know as what Jews actually believe in. There is no debate if there is no conflict of position.
