""Only lies have our fathers handed down to us, emptiness in which there is nothing of any avail![/u] (20) Can a man make gods for himself, and they are no gods?"

Yes, but I don't see myself as making any gods. I am just trying to understand the whole counsel of the one true God. The NT is the written evidence of what the early Christians were believing. It did get distorted later, which is why I am not a member of any Christian denomination, but I am not ready to thrown the NT because of that. I want to call attention to the fact that Chaim is accepting Philo and Josephus as the truth while rejecting the NT. What basis do you have for doing that?

In the future, the Jews will be brought to the fullness of being a light to the world. This does not mean that everything Jewish rabbis say is correct, especially now, when you don't even have a temple to fulfill the Torah completely, or Urim and Thummim to clarify the will of G-d, However, G-d, in spite of allowing the horrible persecutions against Jews, is still dealing with Israel and will do so more in the future. G-d is with you, in spite of your errors, or there would be no nation Israel today. If the U.S. participates in any way in expelling Jews from any more of Israel's land, we will see swift divine retribution on the U.S. just as there has been in the past, but this time it would be worse. I am not a prophet. I just follow the Bible and note recent history.
