The sole purpose of angels appearing or being perceived as/in a human form is to communicate to man, who perceives in terms he can understand. In a "world" - as you describe - where the physical no longer exists, the notion of man being resurrected into something akin to a form you believe angels took is perposterous.
The notion of a "spiritual body" is oxymoronic. Angels are not humans, as a human is inherently made up of a physical body and a soul, and free will. Without one or the other they are not man. You will find no support for your belief in the Tanach, and as you know any support for this belief in the GT is irrelevent to this message board.
We were created both body and soul for a reason, and it is not coincidance that when we are resurrected we are resurrected a soul into a body.
