Yep.

The Arabic version comes from the 10th century CE so it is as likely to be corrupt as any of them.

10th century CE -- 1000 years into Xianity.

The text comes from a Xian source. The quote appears in Agapius's Book of the Title. Agapius was a tenth century Chrstian Arab and Melkite bishop of Hierapolis.

It isn't even actually a quote -- Agapius gets the name of Josephus' book wrong so he appears to be quoting from his own memory.

So all this Arabic version proves is that the modern one is even more Xianized than it is -- but this quote, too, is Xian and from a mere 1000 years ago.

But let's say that Josephus DID write about a Jsus who was crucified by Pilate (and I'm not saying this is true). . .it still does NOT prove it is true.

Josephus lived from 37 CE until 100 CE. By 100 CE there were Xians in Rome. Ergo if Josephus wrote this down he was just writing down what others said -- not what he knew to be factual.
