I really don't agree with that statement.
There exists framework in place, a foundation within which to work.
A "known" which is a tested fact and has with stood the test of time, makes for a good reality base....
then you have fiction of course.

Truth and tale......

There too is the "unknown"....in which we can generate theories until the "unknown" becomes a "known"..... But to base your life and set yourself in stone, on the primise of a theory of an "unknown" is unwise...

It's fun to speculate...
But individual's that suffer from illusions are demented to different degrees. People get caught up in the demented ideology and theories of others...
