This is just pure philosophy, and I am busy responding to your other post, and was on the search for another post I made on this forum, but couldn't find... it's very annoying this waiting period you have on posts to be approved.

Anyways, you have not entered onto my argument.
You cannot prove that Adam has existed(yea, I know, DNA research proves that all humans are descendant of two humans to start with but that doesn't proof that that man and women were adam and eve).

I could use that argument of the absense of proof to totally shatter your theology.
What would I shatter then you ask?
First of all, the creation story. You are now free to believe in evolution.
The promise made with abraham and the convenant of the circumsision.
The flood account and promise to never flood the world again,
etc...
all promises made in the book of genesis are now void.

You isrealites, are now descendants of egyptian slaves, with someone picked out by God to save them...
but now we get into theological difficulties... becouse genesis is void... then so are the bones of joseph... hmmm, promises to abraham? hmmm... so you can dismiss also a large part of latter books...

see how the using an argument of not being able to prove that someone existed is kinda a non argument for faith?
It is a matter of faith you accept genesis as true, that adam existed, and that all persons involved existed.

So don't dismiss my faith on the inability to satisfy your need of proof for his existance ;) come with proper theological arguments, and then you have my ear, but with these non arguments, you really don't have my attention. it's pure philosophy.
