Let's not be "politically correct" and let's "say it like it is", folah!

One needs to take such statements with the proverbial "grain of salt". Upon digging a bit further into such declarations, it soon becomes clear that, in addition to a "hidden agenda", this support of Israel is for the "Holy Land", the parcel of land, more than for the Jewish people and Judaism. In fact, it is not a support of the Jewish faith at all, given that evangelical Christians aim to convert Jews from Judaism to Christianity. After all, that is the charge of the "Great Commission" in the GT and, according to Paul, "to the Jew first, then to the Greek". The "hidden agenda" is that, once all the Jewish people are in the "Holy Land", yeshu will make his "second coming", and all Jews will accept him as "lord and savior".

Really ! Evangelicals support Israel for the "Holy land" the parcel of land !! what makes the land Holy ??

Yes, it's true there are some that errorneously believe the Jews are holding up the 2nd coming of Jesus. These few by no means represent majority of evangelicals. Besides they are not forcing anyone to convert.

Wrong! the great commission is to take the gospel (good news) of the imminent kingdom of God to all nations. It's this kingdom of God (worldwide, sea to sea)) that the messiah will rule over -not just a parcel of land in the middle east. Majority of Jesus teaching was on this kingdom and that is what he asked the disciples to teach all nations. He had made it explicitly clear that the disciples are not rabbis nor teachers.

How come you haven't tried to convert me to a Noahide anyway?. Wouldn't you want me to have a part in the coming kingdom of God?
