Folah,

I am not sure what point you are trying to make. There is absolutely no correlation between the language Yeshu uses in saying THIS GENERATION shall not pass..., and the quote you listed from Genesis.

Genesis 5 lists the descendants of Adam to Noach's sons Shem, Ham, Yapheth. Then comes the narrative of the flood. Chapter 10 goes on to list the descendants of the three sons of Noach. Chapter 10 then goes on to specifically list the descendants of our ancestor Shem, through our ancestor Avram. And on and on and on.

I am not sure what correlation you are trying to draw, but the two are not comparable whatsoever. One is ongoing genealogies which continue from the beginning to the end of the Tanach, the other is one of many of Yeshu's "prophecies" which have never come to fruition.
I asked for strength, and G-d gave difficulties to make me strong. I asked for wisdom, and G-d gave me problems to solve. I asked for prosperity, and G-d gave me brawn and brain to work. I asked for courage, and G-d gave me dangers to overcome. I asked for love, and G-d gave me troubled people to help. I asked for favors, and G-d gave me opportunities. I received nothing I wanted. I received everything I needed. My prayers were answered.
