Many thanks for leaving my post as is, Uri. I still do not have a clear idea of where your proselytizing line is. I tell you what I believe, making it clear it is my opinion, and my goal is to clear up misunderstandings about NT faith, and at times I try to demonstrate that I am right, especially when I am often challenged that I have weak proof. If I try to show too much proof then I am proselytizing??

First, the easy one from Sophiee. I didn't go far enough. Your translation is still faulty. In John 7:10, which you say means Jesus went in secret, it says Jesus went "as it were" in secret, the words in quotes being a translation of the Greek word "omega breath mark sigma" which is transliterated as "hos". He did not go in secret. I disagree that anything done in secret is dishonest. If so, then we should take all of the doors off our rooms and have no privacy. However, one of the marks of Jesus' ministry is that he kept no secrets, and had a higher standard than the rest of us. If you keep reading the account in John 7, you find Jesus in the temple teaching in verse 14. He did not go in secret, but as it were in secret, that is, not accompanying his brothers openly, for the purpose of getting away from the interference of them. His brothers, including the one who became the leading apostle James, later knew exactly what he did since it is recorded here, so it wasn't really a secret, just a temporarily private move.
