What spirit? I see no word for "spirit" in the Hebrew text. The "prince of Persia" is the guardian angel of Persia.
Folah78 Angels are spirit -that much is clear even in Judaism.
According to the Zohar, every nation has its angel (prince) in heaven to represent it. Here, in v. 13 - which is a "parenthetical" (i.e., an 'oh, by the way') verse, v. 14 continues from v. 12 - the guardian angel of Persia was trying to hold back Gabriel, Israel's guardian angel in order to prolong Israel's enslavement.
Meaning God appointed these angels over each nation, the prince of persia is now trying to hold back Gabriel to prolong Israel's enslavement!! WOW!!! A kingdom divided against itself can never stand !!!

Where do you dig up your twisted interpretations?
