For those sincere enough to want to do more research on this, I am offering a little help. Lama sabachthani is a Hellenized form of the following Chaldee or Hebrew words:

Uri covers all of this in his article, and I covered it in my posts.

Quote:
(1) Mem He, that can be pronounced maw or mah, an exclamatory interrogative word that can mean what?!, how?! or why?!, with the addition of a prefix "la".

LAMA (lamed-mem-he) is a Hebrew word. As far as I know it is not used in Aramaic, though I admit I could be wrong. You will find the Aramaic L'MA (lamed-mem-alef) in the Targum for:

Genesis 4:6
Genesis 12:18, 19
Genesis 18:13
Genesis 24:31
Genesis 25:22
Genesis 27:45, 46
Genesis 31:27, 30
Genesis 32:30
Genesis 33:15
Genesis 42:1
Genesis 43:6
Genesis 44:4, 7
Genesis 47:19
Exodus 2:13, 20
Exodus 5:4, 15, 22
Exodus 17:3
Exodus 32:11, 12
Numbers 9:7
Numbers 11:11, 20
Numbers 14:41
Numbers 21:5
Numbers 22:37
Numbers 27:4
Deuteronomy 5:22

All of which can be cross-checked in Targum Onkelos.

You can find the Aramaic word L'MA in the Tanach in Ezra 4:22, and 7:23.

Quote:
(2) Shin Beth Qoph, that can be pronounced Sh'vack, found in Ezra 6:7 that is translated "leave" or "let alone" in English. "thani" is alleged to be a pronoun suffix meaning "to me".

Sh'vaqtani is not the same as sabachthani. Arguing that it is meant to be the Aramaic word sh'vaqtani is also hampered by the fact that the rest of the sentence is Hebrew. But even if you did want to argue that it was "meant to be" sh'vaqtani, like Uri says, that raises numerous other red flags, which Yeshu and the authors could not all come out unscathed by.

Quote:
Notice that I am not claiming to be an expert in Hebrew. I simply did a little research since you put the burden of proof on Folah to show that lama sabachthani is a real word. It is now incumbent on you to either prove that my research is incorrect or drop your claim.

There is nothing wrong with looking things up. However, you have not removed the burden of proof from Folah, nor from the Christian gospels which contain this.
