Erin,

1.) Which religion do you think most Jewish converts come from? I’m guessing Christianity.  When ex-(whatevers) come seeking conversion to Judaism they are probably first introduced to the Noachide teachings/movement and told they don’t have to convert to Judaism.

2) Don’t Noachides have to first accept Jewish theology, the rabbinic establishment, Judaism ( for Jews), the Torah, and HaShem? What elements of Hinduism could a Hindu retain?  I think if they reached a point of being a Noahide, they probably would be practicing a very modified or different version of Hinduism. If they were Christian, they would probably be labeled a heretic because they would be giving up some of the core Christian teachings.

3. Aren’t there some groups of Orthodox Jews who have more in common with observant Muslims than Christians?  The middle-east in general is very different from western culture. That and the fact Jews and Muslims appear to both embrace pure monotheism.
