When (Jesus) said, "For my flesh is MEAT* indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him..." clearly (from context) is it possible he could have merely meant, . . .
Now you are making up your own "oral tradition" and assuming what you THINK it meant, ignoring what it clearly says.

Touche' Sophiee!  Actually, I have plenty of ancient scholars to back me up on this point,
Like I said, you and your "ancient scholars" are an oral tradition -- they are outside of your "written" bible -- the very accusation you make not only of the oral mitzvot given to Moses (not an "oral" tradition but rather an oral TRANSMISSION) and then the later commentary by our sages.     You make it up as you go along -- you and your "ancient scholars" who had no decent knowledge of the Jewish bible (based on the distortions in the Christian one) let alone Jewish traditions such as how Passover is celebrated (if Jesus' last supper was a Passover seder why did he eat BREAD which is forbidden???). . .

Yet you come here and you continually insult us and disrespect both the Jewish bible which you do not even understand at a basic level (Erev Pesach ring a bell?) and our sages who passed down knowledge from generation to generation.

If you have questions ask them -- your attempt at "explaining" Christianity is becoming tiresome and is indeed evangelizing.   Jesus most likely was mythological -- if he ever lived he was not a king of Israel and based on the Christian bible he was no rabbi either -- he constantly told his followers NOT to follow G-d's eternal mitzvot up to and including honoring their parents.

Cease the pleasantries as you attempt to brainwash people on this forum.
