This person was utterly clairvoyant, well versed in things Christian, and without any need to validate anything about Christianity.  None.  I still figure that if anyone (that is, any living person) had personal knowledge of a historical Jesus, she did.

The previous post was intended for Gideon.  Of course, on the one hand, whether or not there was a historical Jesus is all but immaterial here.  I all but said that in the earlier post.  One of my questions is why it seems so intensely important to him that Jesus doesn't exist.  I have the impression his religion has a lot to do with it, but that religion isn't Judaism,[*] nor does it matter to me at all that he is a Jew.

Can't prove there is/was a Jesus.
Can't prove there wasn't.
I've got no mind to try to prove the former.
Don't understand the zeal as to the latter.
