This person was utterly clairvoyant, well versed in things Christian, and without any need to validate anything about Christianity.  None.  I still figure that if anyone (that is, any living person) had personal knowledge of a historical Jesus, she did.

The Torah explicitly warns the Jew about consulting with such individuals, and note also how King Saul was reprimanded for asking the Woman of Ein-Dor, who engaged in necromancy, to raise Samuel's spirit.  These warnings don't automatically imply that such people are phonies.  In fact, what they teach is that, by consulting them, one could leave himself/herself open to untold harmful effects.

Can't prove there wasn't.
I've got no mind to try to prove the former.
Don't understand the zeal as to the latter.

Response to 1st line:  True; there is no direct evidence of his existence.
Response to 2nd line:  There is plenty of circumstantial evidence he did not exist.
Response to 3rd line:  Probably a good idea since direct evidence is absent.
Response to 4th line:  It would cause Christianity to collapse, though the ramifications are unknown.

Our raison d'être:

WHOSOEVER DESTROYS A SINGLE SOUL OF ISRAEL, SCRIPTURE IMPUTES [GUILT] TO HIM AS THOUGH HE HAD DESTROYED A COMPLETE WORLD; AND WHOSOEVER PRESERVES A SINGLE SOUL OF ISRAEL, SCRIPTURE ASCRIBES [MERIT] TO HIM AS THOUGH HE HAD PRESERVED A COMPLETE WORLD. (Babylonian Talmud, Tractate Sanhedrin, 37a)

The fruits of our effort:

The battle against spiritual terrorism is being won, one soul at a time!!!
