Gideon said (07/18/11 10:47:25), I suspect that there have been literally countless revelations to every civilization of human history, from the same Divine Source.I believe exactly the same.

The Professor said (07/19/11 06:35:27), “you” can be either singular or plural in contemporary usage (although this is actually a fairly recent development),How recent? It seems to me what’s been “contemporary usage” for several centuries certainly gives Gideon room enough to use the term as he did.

He also said (07/20/11 09:50:46), And it seems the moderator did not disagree with me, as my reply was released.Moderators release all kinds of posts they disagree with. Witness mine.

Gideon also said (loc. cit.), I have no idea what you mean by "people like him" means, unless it is some kind of weird ad hominem.IMO it certainly was ad hominem, of the sort some participants here participate in to excess. Albeit I have not always been successful in the intent I’m about to express, I do try to avoid attacking anyone personally, and to ignore such attacks when made upon me.  The presence of poop on the sidewalk does not obligate me to step in it.

Back to Gideon's original question: Why are the Xians so insistent on a historical savior.I've already posted my own answer.
I still think the real question is, why is Gideon so insistent he's not?
And I still think the real issue is precognition.
