Harry: we have had questioning of the Sinai revelation but it boils down to two points: 1) we don't care if anyone believes in the Sinai revelation or not -- it is immaterial to a Jew; 2) there are proofs of our covenant with G-d not the least of which is the unbroken chain of transmission and the more recent proof of DNA. . .

As for why Jews might be insistent that Jesus is not a historical savior -- that is found in the Jewish bible: Isaiah 43:11 "I, even I, am HaShem and apart from me there is no savior" and Numbers 23:19, "G-d is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind". . .

There is only one savior and it is not Jesus -- historical or otherwise.

You continue to miss the point which is that Jesus historicity (or lack thereof) is totally immaterial to Jews and I would imagine to Gideon. The interesting thing is that Christians cannot prove he ever existed let alone that the mythology around him is likewise unproven and the onus is on you -- the "believers." You seem awfully insistent that everyone believe that he did live.
