However, I do take exception to his claim that there is circumstantial evidence to support that a prototype of Jesus existed between 1 CE and 30 CE -- there is actually no circumstantial (or any other) kind of evidence -- which is pretty amazing given how wonderful the Romans were at keeping records. If there was one or more humans at the core of the Jesus myth (which is indeed possible, but "who cares"?) -- it is doubtful that they lived exactly at those times. . .
