I ran across a bizaare passage in

Philippians 2:5-11

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

6 Who, being in very nature God,
   did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
7 rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
   being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man,
   he humbled himself
   by becoming obedient to death—
      even death on a cross!
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

This is referred to as the "Kenosis".  You may look up what it means; it will probably nauseate you, as it does me.  Since it is not relevant to this thread, I won't explain it.
Here is my premise...doesn't it look amazingly similiar to the following:
Now there was about this time Jesus, a wise man, if it be lawful to call him a man; for he was a doer of wonderful works, a teacher of such men as receive the truth with pleasure.

Did Josephus read Paul?  Did Paul read Josephus?  Does anyone know enough Greek to confirm my suspicions, or is this a coincidence.  I used the NIV, since it is the only n.t. I find readable, but other translations are even closer to Joe the Priest.  As an aside, if Jesus really were "God", does the above make any sense whatsoever?
