I'll check on this.

The principal merit I found in the Wikipedia article on Paul, was its discussion of Hyam Maccoby's views. That section apparently was written by someone other than the article's principal author. ...

Uh-oh.

Well, to finish the previous thought, are you aware of what, if anything, Maccoby says about this theory?

The ellipsis and previous paragraph above manifest a change of mind. I came across details in your post that frankly move me to dismiss this author. There's nothing new here — nothing unknown to the likes of the Jesus Seminar participants.

Far from Marcion "referencing" Paul's letters most say Marcion was first and Paul's letters came next.

Most WHO?

The question concerning Justin is little different from asking why Paul so seldom referenced Jesus. On the one hand, does that in Paul suggest a later date? On the other hand, what about all the other anti-Nicene fathers who do refer to Paul?

During composition of this post, the 10:42:15 post was released.  I shall examine it next.
