Points:

(1) Nothing here about disrupting families; nor anything particularly reminiscent of the Malachi vision, either.

(2) Recalling recent discussion another thread, use of the spelling Crhst in the underlying Greek makes no change to the overall gist of the passage — here or anywhere else.

(3) Pertinent the thread topic, ABSOLUTELY nothing here about a new covenant.
