Shua -- G-d has no physicality. When the Torah tells us that man was created in "G-d's image" (not the best translation) it can be seen one of two ways:

1. Man was made using G-d's design (image / form / blueprint);

2. Man was modeled after G-d's insights, intelligence, free will, etc.

The Jewish bible describes G-d has having seven eyes which come out of their sockets and wander through the earth – based on Zechariah 4:10. Does your missionary friend know any people with seven removable eyes that wander around?

G-d is also described as having the wings of an eagle or vulture based on Shemot / Exodus 19:4 -- does your missionary friend have wings?

Why don't they worry about THOSE passages? In all probability they discount them thinking they are merely allegorical -- so why would they not think the same as Adam being in the "image" of G-d?
