Hello, I was thinking about a question relating to the feast of Shavuot, and saw this thread, so I will put it here:
It is called the feast of "the Receiving of the Torah at Mount Sinai", but in the Torah it is only mentioned as the feast of Weeks or the feast of Harvest and Firstfruits.
Can you explain why there seems to be no reference (I could not find it) to the receiving of the Torah?
