GamaHWhen you fabricate a lie, it's hard to be consistent.

That's right. It's mind boggling to me how casual reading of their GT can lead one to find these contradictions and fabrications. If I had no knowledge of G-d or Torah, and would one day come accross a Tanach and GT, and would read both, there's just no way I'd be able to believe in the GT, due to all the inconsistencies, fake verses, made up prophecies, mistranslations, etc. Its message seeks to rest on the words of the Tanach, which it uses to back up its claims....so obviously, I'll go there and learn that because this is the source. Once you know the source, and get its straightforward message, and then go back to GT and compare---"wow, something is not right w/ this GT. Why are the authors making up prophecies, changing verses in Tanach to fit their claims, deliberately mistranslating, etc.?"

As our great Rebbe Nachman z"l said "the truth can only be one"...
