Sophiee1: They surely believed in Baal with all their hearts. They had supernatural experiences. So why aren't you and Michael Brown worshiping Baal?
I highly doubt false gods provide "supernatural experiences". I also hope you were sarcastic, because I don't think anyone has a prayer which will be answered anymore.

While I still believe Jesus to be a god. It was a man to a god in an afterlife which doesn't communicate with the living much, and that afterlife brought mankind one miracle. Individual gods of the afterlife who were still human, which makes much of the new testament strange to describe and to Jews especially.

The NT puts forth several things. 1. The new covenant was given not to replace the old covenant, but to improve it temporarily. 2. The law of the christ which was only good with the help of holy spirit. 3. The individual Yeshu had lived and returned to Judge Israel and especially Judah. 4. Much effort is spent talking about how deeds of [the] law are unsucessful if there is faithlessness to a law. [edited to remove Weboh's idiosyncratic and clearly erroneous speculations about Jewish history -Zvi] 5. The Yeshu is only bowed to as a form of worship. The word for religious service, latrew is not used of him.

Those hoping for a rejection of Yeshu bar Mariam and Joseph are hoping for too much.

In the same vein, the "rabbi" who says pig will be kosher also doesn't know much of the NT.
This is not Jewish teaching.
