That sure didn't READ like a question!

And it is also totally inaccurate.  The Jesus stories are all anonymous and written by unknown people long after the "facts" supposedly happened.  Christians can't even prove that Jesus even existed (as we've discussed many, many times).

Christians claim to accept the Jewish bible as the  basis for their religion -- ergo there is no "question" of the facts of the Jewish bible where Christians are concerned (or Muslims for that matter).   The Jewish bible clearly states that 3 million Jews witnessed G-d speaking to them at Sinai -- and most Jews alive even today are descendants of those Jews.  No "anonymous" third party sources as in Christianity.

The comparison of the Christian claim to the Jewish claim is a bit like comparing a tsetse fly with the Atlantic Ocean -- save that they are both on the planet Earth they have very little in common.  The Christian "faith" is based on stories told after the fact by anonymous authors who can't even get basic details the same -- from Joseph's lineage to how many people saw Jesus supposedly rise from the crypt.    The key here is anonymous and after the fact.

Judaism is the ONLY religion to base its claims on eye witnesses -- 3 MILLION OF THEM -- who in turn passed the history on to their children.  This is called the Kurzari Principle.
Now the belief in a national revelation at Sinai has been held by the whole of the Jewish nation for thousands of years. We need to ask: Why did they believe this? Where did this belief come from? What we have seen so far enables us to rule out one answer to these questions. They were not deceived into believing it by later persuasion.
This last sentence is key -- because Christianity is based on persuasion of people like Paul who never even met this "Jesus."  There is no proof Jesus ever existed at all -- the stories of him so resemble earlier pagan gods!

it is relatively easy to fool a few people at a time and to let a story grow -- as the Christian mythology grew.  It is quite another for 3 MILLION PEOPLE to pass a story down from father to son.

Abraham Lincoln once said:
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time but YOU CANNOT FOOL ALL OF THE PEOPLE ALL OF THE TIME.
By claiming that all of the Jewish nation was present at Sinai and heard G-d speak we are saying ALL OF THE PEOPLE took part.      More on why this is (as Lincoln agreed) impossible.

Lincoln did state, and it is true -- that you can fool some of the people all of the time, and Christianity is a prime example.  Some people made up a story and convinced others of its validity.     Never did Christians ever claim that EVERYONE alive witnessed Jesus and then told their children -- let alone that the Christians of today are the descendants of those people.

To compare National Revelation with a twice told tale by anonymous people who can't even keep the details straight is patently ridiculous.

If anyone would like to know more about the Kuzari Principle just ask.
