Oy... again with the drama... Zvi, you have lost your touch, brother.  You used to be a guy who was able to focus on the issues at hand.  But now you're all caught up in semantics - at least where my posts are concerned.  I mean, really - you "have no idea" what I was trying to say?  Really?  Come on.

Okay, I'll spell it out: the "revelation at Sinai", along with most of the pre-Exodus  history of Israel, is considered a myth by just about anyone who isn't Christian or Jewish.  There is no proof, and really no evidence, that Israel ever dwelt in the land of Goshen, or anywhere in Egypt, during that time (I would be very happy if you would prove me wrong on this point, by the way).  The fact that you fail to see that, and yet somehow consider that revelation a more compelling piece of miraculous evidence than anything that any Christian might report as a miracle is, well, astounding.

And look - let's be clear - I fully believe that the account of Israel recorded in the Bible is historically accurate.  I believe in the revelation at Sinai.  But you gotta realize that your position on this point is very much like the story of "The Emperor's New Clothes".
